Ashay Prabhu

Ashay Prabhu is an experienced Asset Management Practitioner, working primarily with local governments. He has developed Asset Management Policies, Strategies and Plans based on the various state guidelines. He has recently worked with over 25 sites in implementing asset accounting frameworks and methodologies to comply with the newly introduced IFRS. He has trained over a thousand Council work crews in the implementation of the Road Management Act and other legislation in other states through the application of maintenance management principles.
Ashay is also pioneering a unique concept of Total Asset Management Framework for all infrastructure implementations around councils in Australia with 27 fully mature sites practicing a service delivery model for all asset classes. He is a member of Institution of Engineers Australia and NPER and an Adjunct Professor of Asset Management at Bond University.
Joel Brakey
Director – Corporate Services
Joel Brakey is a founding partner of Assetic and has been managing Assetic’s operations, including the development, rollout and integration of Assetic’s existing suite of products for infrastructure custodians since inception.
Joel is an experienced IT consultant and manager over a diverse range of software-related projects. His expertise in producing sector specific, fit for purpose solutions is evident from the support of his software solutions from a range of government, health, research and mining clients. He has assisted over 100 organisations in the delivery of successful software and IT outcomes.
Joel holds an honours degree in engineering from The University of Melbourne, with major studies in software engineering and project management. He is also a member of the The Institution of Engineers Australia and was previously involved in the Software Engineering project selection committee at The University of Melbourne.
