Co-Founder

Ashay is an Assetic co-founder with over 20 years’ experience in strategic asset management. He has led the development of condition algorithms, valuation profiles and prediction analytics, and is passionate about applying this science to close the global infrastructure renewal gap. Ashay has a Directorship at the Asia Pacific Institute of Asset Management, is an adjunct professor of Strategic Asset Management at Bond University, a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), and is a chartered professional member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Joel Brakey

Co-Founder

Joel is a co-founder of Assetic and has been managing the development, rollout and integration of Assetic’s suite of products for infrastructure custodians since inception. His expertise in producing sector-specific, fit for purpose solutions is evident from the uptake of his software solutions by a range of government, health, research and commercial clients over the past 15 years. Joel holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering (Hons) from The University of Melbourne.

Dave D’Aprano

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dave has significant executive management experience building global services businesses, particularly for business-to-business providers in the technology space. His career spans various IT success stories including Com Tech Communications, that went on to be acquired by Dimension Data. After a further 16 years at Dimension Data, Dave went on to work with a variety of bright tech start-ups, Australian technology companies and technology-focused venture capitalists. At Assetic Dave oversees all business operations to ensure maximum engagement and efficiency.

Janna de Groot

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Janna has extensive experience in senior management and corporate strategy, spanning a range of industries including consumer goods, financial services, industrials, media and mining. At Assetic Janna is responsible for identifying new avenues of business efficiencies, and ensuring Assetic’s product development roadmap and overall strategy align.

Jerry Chang

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Jerry is a software industry expert, possessing both in-depth technical knowledge and strong business skills, with a track record in taking sophisticated software platforms to market. He is responsible for the development of the full suite of Assetic software, across both the desktop and the cloud-based versions.

Tony Blefari

Product & Consulting Director

Tony has over 20 years’ experience working in government and private engineering organisations in a variety of engineering and asset management roles. Tony leads Assetic’s consulting services team, which provides implementation, integration and specialist asset management services to Assetic’s client base.

Brad Campbell

General Manager – Global Sales

Brad has significant experience in a variety of asset management related roles, and has led over 100 asset management implementations. Brad is now responsible for the overall global business development of Assetic, applying Assetic’s unparalleled Australian strategic asset management experience offshore and at home.

Ed Singer

General Manager – North America

Ed has over 30 years’ experience in the infrastructure asset management industry, and is a member of the US Delegation to the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) tasked with supporting development and furtherance of the ISO 55000 standards. Ed is responsible for the development of Assetic’s footprint in the United States and Canada.
