Assetic further cements holistic Local Government offering, signing transformational 5-year deal with Mansfield Shire Council (MSC).

The partnership outsources the full breadth of Council’s asset management software and services requirements to Assetic. MSC originally went to market seeking specialised asset management software, but quickly realised resourcing challenges meant that a full software and services approach was required.

MSC Chief Executive Officer Alex Green said Council was looking for an approach that expedited asset management maturity in the immediate term, and also future-proofed it for sustainable community outcomes. “Assetic was the clear choice for us, because of its unique ability to support its software with expert consulting services,” said Mr Green.

Assetic co-founder and director Ashay Prabhu said, “This partnership is exciting, because it’s about more than modernising software alone; this is a full end-to-end approach to ensure asset management success, irrespective of inevitable challenges. It was clear from the get-go that Mansfield is committed to securing the best possible outcomes for their community, and I strongly believe this approach will achieve that.”

Activities Assetic will now undertake on MSC’s behalf include:

  • Maintenance of a centralised asset register for all classes down to asset component level
  • Condition Assessments and Valuations Services
  • Asset Accounting (AASB) including statutory reports
  • Enablement of Council’s engineering department with Works Management including mobility for defect inspection and logging, work executing, etc.
  • All aspects of Strategic Asset Management such as asset management plans, 20-year long-term financial plans, four-year CapEx program development, key community stakeholder engagement
